Heathen Disco Music Reviews #0040 (November 8, 2024)
Lordy, lordy, look who's 40: dream pop, hard rock, landscape surveys and frilly errors
Reading through the outrage, listening beyond the pain. Let’s prepare for whatever is next through art and artistry. Some of it will work, some of it won’t. No sense in not trying, though.
Hello, folks. This has been a tough week, and I hope that some of the music featured below will get you more in the position where you want to be. Some of it definitely won’t, but there’s the law of averages again, poking the fish in the barrel. I don’t have any advice for anyone other than escape into to some music and start to plan from there. Your mind is your own, live there rent-free.
There should be some new Heathen Disco sets up soon via Mixcloud, but here’s one I laid down about eight years ago when I felt this way. I think it holds up.
