Heathen Disco Music Reviews #0047 (Hard Drive Dump Vol. 1: January 2024, Pt. 2)

So much music in here, but don't get overwhelmed

Continuing on, here’s some words about every music release that somehow found its way to my laptop in 2024. January was a fruitful month for upcoming releases, but it always is. I’m increasing the volume of these newsletters to try to get as much of this out before year’s end, and so this is #2 of 3 for January 2024. I’m actually doing this. The final installment for January will hit your inbox tomorrow; consider this a bonus.

By the time you read this (if you read this on Friday 12/6), it’ll be the last Bandcamp Friday for the year, and if you were going to support any of these artists, it would behoove you to do so on a day where the platform removes any fees for artist and label alike. Think about it!

Also, in my haste I didn’t post a link to the Heathen Disco set I recorded over the weekend, so here you are:

This is what was played:

  • I-F – Us & Ours & You & Yours
